This October, you’ll be handed a torch and sent inside to uncover the truth.

Welcome to Sisters of Mercy Church

Four years ago, the Douglas & Daughters Restoration Team began the painstaking task of restoring Stidham Village’s abandoned Sisters of Mercy Church.

The historic building had been left devastated by a mysterious fire, but slowly, the restoration team began returning the church to its former glory.

Then strange things started happening.

Workers and volunteers reported unexplained noises coming from deep inside the church. Others claimed to have seen something moving amongst the shadows.

Then they discovered the diary.

Hidden within the church was an old diary belonging to Mother Amelia, and its pages began to reveal a disturbing story about the fire that consumed Sisters of Mercy more than 80 years ago.

A story that perhaps should have remained buried.

Then They Disappeared

Renovation work at Sisters of Mercy has now been suspended indefinitely following a deeply concerning incident.

A group of local teenagers disappeared after attending Stidham’s annual Halloween Fancy Dress Competition.

They were last seen entering the grounds of Sisters of Mercy Church.

None of them have been seen since.

An extensive search has failed to uncover any credible trace of the missing teenagers.

The church has been closed. The renovation has been abandoned. The power has been disconnected.

But the search isn’t over.

Members of the local Neighbourhood Watch are preparing to enter Sisters of Mercy once again.

This time, they need your help.

Your Torch. Your Search. Your Nightmare.

In Malefica: Into Darkness, you’ll enter Sisters of Mercy Church armed with one thing:

A torch.

Your mission is to search the abandoned church for any sign of the missing teenagers.

Step through the doors and your torch will illuminate the way as you venture deeper into a building that has been left to the darkness.

But Sisters of Mercy has secrets.

Strange things move beyond the beam of your torch. Shadows refuse to behave as they should. And the further you venture inside, the harder it becomes to trust what you can see.

Then the light goes out.

And in the darkness, you may finally discover why those who entered Sisters of Mercy never returned.
