Everything you need to know about FEAR Scream Park

We can’t wait to open our gates on Friday 13 October for 13 nights of TERRIFYING thrills!
We’ve put together this guide of everything you need to know to get your full FEAR on.

What attractions are on offer?

Come and visit our award-winning line-up located in two SPINE-CHILLING immersive SCARE zones.

Be brave and visit Stidham Village, an imaginary village in England where the House of Clowns has taken residence. If that’s not enough to get your blood pumping, visit the local church which is under restoration, and enter Malefica.

After Stidham Village, take a trip to The Republic of England, home to X4, V I T A N O V A, and The Core. Each attraction is set within the same dystopian universe.

Experience our thrilling fire show, ride the exhilarating funfair rides, and try out our street food stalls with plenty of options for everyone.

If you dare, take a seat for as long as you can in the electrifying electric chair, test your target skills with Axe Throwing or let out your anger on Bottle Smash.

If all this hasn’t put you off try The Exorcism. This unique immersive experience places you in the heart of the classic story, where you will be battling to save the soul of Evelyn Grace. Even the bravest souls will be left haunted.

How old do I need to be to come to FEAR at Avon Valley Scream Park?

This event has a minimum age requirement of 16 years old. Individuals below this age will not be permitted. All under 18s are required to be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18. Your age can be verified using your passport, provisional or full driving licence, national identity card, or birth certificate.

For those who are younger, FEARless offers a frightfully fun family-friendly night out for 11–15-year-olds who must also be accompanied by an adult 18 and over.

Will the actors touch me?

The actors inside may touch you, but you are not permitted to touch them. For your safety, guidelines are clearly signposted at the entrance of each attraction stating the house rules; by entering the queue line, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions (Ts&Cs). Failure to adhere to our Ts&Cs will result in removal from the event. Our acting team is made up of trained professionals, and their safety is of paramount importance to us. We ask that you treat them with respect.

Can I dress up at the event?

While fancy dress is encouraged at FEAR, full or half-face masks, offensive costumes, or costume props will not be allowed into the event. In order to enter the attractions, all hoods must be removed for the safety of the actors.

If I get scared, can I get out?

Once you enter any of the attractions, you are committed to following through to the end. It is only in exceptional circumstances that you can leave early.

However, if you are a scaredy cat, you can purchase a ‘scaredy cat light’ on arrival. This means the monsters will keep their distance from you if they see the light. However, these lights aren’t 100% effective as some actors may not have full visibility of you.

Are you wheelchair friendly?

The overall site is wheelchair accessible but may not be easy to get around due to gravel paths. The scare attractions are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. The scare mazes and attractions at our scream park may be physically demanding and, due to the nature of the event, unsuitable for visitors with additional needs.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to any attraction should we feel there may be a danger to an individual or others during either a normal operation or in the event of emergency procedures.

How do I get there?

By Car:
The park is easily accessible by car and is situated just off the main A4 between Bath and Bristol. FREE hardstanding parking is available on site.

By Bus:
From Bristol: coming from Bristol, the park is just after the Keynsham bypass. When you re-join the single carriageway, look for the brown signs directing you to take the left turn for Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park.

From Bath: coming from Bath, go through Saltford, and you’ll see signs for the park as you approach Keynsham.

There are buses that drive past the end of our road: First Bus 39 and X39, and the Green Air Decker bus. The bus stop is located near the end of Pixash Lane, and it is a short walk from the main road to our park.

Do you sell any merchandise?

Yes, you can purchase our merchandise via this link. We have hoodies, t-shirts, caps, phone cases and much more!

Where do we eat in the park?

We have several food stands serving homemade burgers, pulled pork rolls, famous mac ‘n cheese, and vegetarian and vegan delights. We also have our Social Tent bar which will be serving draught favourites, cool cocktails, and a selection of spirits and soft drinks.

Of course, there will be plenty of sweet and snack stalls around for any interval snacks.

As if all this isn’t enough reason to visit – we are award winning!
